Terms of Payment in Budapest
If you wish to pay by cash, we accept English Sterling, Euro or US dollars.
All major credit cards are accepted at our clinic without extra charge: Visa, Maestro, and MasterCard.
The Hungarian currency is the Forint. The clinic charges the patient's card in Hungarian Forints using the selling market rate set put by the K&H Bank rate on the day. Interbank rates may very and this will be shown on your bank statement. Daily exchange rates.
Important note: if paying by card, the sterling price quoted on the treatment plan will be drawn from the client's card in Hungarian Forints, so exchanged once; the credit card company will then exchange it back into Sterling. Due to the fluctuating exchange rate of the pound, the final amount charged to your card will differ from the price quoted by BHMS. On larger sums, this can sometimes be quite a significant amount.
There is no advance payment required and payments are made after each stage of treatment is completed. This means that if clients require treatment over 2-3 visits, payments will be spread over each stage of the treatment. For payments using a credit card, please ensure that you have sufficient funds and please bring the credit card and passport with you when you attend the appointment. Special journeys for bank visits will be charged for.
BHMS DO NOT ACCEPT ANY PAYMENT COMPLAINT AFTER DEPARTURE FROM THE CLINIC.

Missed Appointment Policy
London Dental Implant is obliged to consider the needs and value of time of all clients using our service. If you cannot keep an appointment, we request that you give us a minimum of two working days notice. This courtesy on your part allows us to give the appointment to another patient who needs to be seen. We understand that situations may arise that make it impossible for you to give 48 hours notice, and each incident will be given individual consideration based on your appointment history. This is especially important as we may be able to use your missed appointment for a patient who requires emergency treatment.
If you are unable to keep your appointment or give us 48 hours notice, a missed appointment fee of £50 may be charged to your account. We want to do everything we can to help you remember your appointments to ensure our clinical time is maximised, waiting times for appointments are kept down and our fees kept as low as possible. We will send you a text message or email to remind you of your appointment the next working day but ultimately it is the client’s responsibility to attend or re-schedule appointments that they cannot attend.
Whilst we understand that occasionally extraordinary circumstances may cause clients to be late, we would respectfully ask the clients to be punctual as we are unable to reschedule the appointment later in the day as this will cause the other booked clients to run late. Please note, your appointment may be rescheduled for a later date.
